Government Polytechnic College Reasi celebrated 80th Independence Day

Reasi August 15; Government Polytechnic College Reasi today celebrated 80th Independence Day with great joy, fervour and enthusiasm in the college. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Arun Bangotra hoisted the National Flag along with Superintendent ITI Reasi Er. Rajesh Banotra. All the staff, students of the college took part in the Independence Day celebration. The National Anthem was sung by everyone after the unfurl of Tricolor flag of India followed by Vande Matram song. Principal Dr. Arun Bangotra highlighted the facts about Independence Day remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters due to whom all of us are living in an independent democratic nation. The patriotic songs were sung by students of the college. The college campus was decorated with National flags. The institution also actively participates in patriotic initiatives Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and Vande Matram campaign. The sweets were distributed among all the students and staff members. Others who were present on occasion were faculty members Er. Himanshu Bakshi, Sh. Parshotam Lal, Er. Sunil Kumar, Ms Vandana Sharma, Ms Meenakshi Devi and all the staff and students of the college.
