Campus Placement Drive Held at Government Polytechnic Reasi
Government Polytechnic College Reasi today organised first time a placement drive to provide employment opportunities to the pass-out Polytechnic students. The maiden placement drive was conducted by Wind World (India) Limited Mumbai for the diploma students of Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrumentation and Control and Electronics & Comm. Engineering for the recruitment at their plant in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra
The placement drive was conducted under the guidance of Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal, More than 40 students from different branches participated in the placement drive.
Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the Institute thanked Wind World (India) for providing the job opportunity to the Polytechnic students. He also impressed upon the students to participate in the placement drive with full enthusiasm and make full use of their professional and technical skill for employability to various organizations. He motivated them to enhance their technical skills, discipline, and professionalism to meet industry standards. He emphasized the importance of such industry–institution interactions in shaping students' careers. Mr. Vishwas Mahajan Dy. General Manager-HR from Wind World (India) delivered a pre-placement talk to the students, following which written tests and personal interviews were conducted. He delivered an informative session about the company profile, work culture, and the placement process. Mr. Nitin Jain (TSM), and Mr. Siyaram Verma (Technical Trainer) from Wind World (India) encouraged students to prepare themselves for industry challenges and assured them of guidance and support from the organization. The arrangements for the placement drive were done by the Training and placement cell of college Mr. Himanshu Bakshi, Mr. Ajay Dogra, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Parshotam lal, Ms. Vandana and Ms. Ayushi. Other present were faculty members Ms. Esha, Ms. Meenakshi, Ms. Veena, Mr. Parshotam and Mr. Anil. The students thanked the college administration for organizing first campus placement drive, which proved to be highly informative and motivating for the students and marked another successful step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration at Government Polytechnic College, Reasi.
